Went on a shake down ride today...

And a great day to do it! We just stayed on the island and checked out some roads less traveled.  I only lost one bolt and that was for the shift lever So we swung into Ace and picked up a new one. There is also a battery cover M. I. A by Coupeville but that comes with the territory when riding sportster,  they have a tendency to get lighter after each ride!

86 is back on the road!

After two long months she is good to go! I had to take her down for tranny work so in the mean time I swapped out the shocks and threw on some struts/springs and did a little carb work.  I had some issues with the bike running a little on the lean side but after replacing the needle it starts,  warms up and runs a lot better!

Ride/Wrench Day

We didnt get much riding in but we got allot done on the bikes. Austin got his fender and struts cut down to a more apealing size and fabbed up his license plate bracket. We got the new bungs welded into position on the backbone of the HKR for the new tank and got it insalled as well. All in all a great day wrenching with friends. Thanks to clint for all the help.

Spring Thaw

Well it has been a while since the site has been updated and we are starting to get back into the swing of things again. Clint had to finish up some finals for school and I was out and about with the old job. We have a few projects underway and will be throwing up some how to write ups. There a few chop shows, get-together's, and custom culture events coming up that we will be at for the blog.

As for the time being spring has come early this year in the NW and it looks to be promising. We got together with a couple guys that we met from the ChopCult and took a trip up the coast. Great ride through the blind corners with not issues other than a peg folding down the wrong way. We re installed the forward control that came loose and got the peg tightened right side up. 08 is up and rolling

Wasn't to chilly of a ride today, rides a little different with the new seat. The pipes sound about the same as the last ones, they are just mounted and welded better.
